Many people would find this offensive, but I find it effing awesome. Nice job! This song reminds me of Tenacious D.
Author's Response:
Thanks a lot, dude. I was really going for a Tenacious D feel.

Again, your talent for music shows. A singer, musician, composer, and songwriter. Simply amazing. Also the game Dilogus is going to be amazing. A Crysis mod that is going to be mind blowing. 10/10 and 5/5. Milkman-Dan does it again!

I loved this. This is a good example of modern epic music. The beginning was well done, adding suspense to capture the listener. I also loved how it went into the drums creating a modern mood to the music, and the trumpets (I think) were great! The only qualm I have is the very beginning. There could have been a smoother transition. When I started to hear this, the music hit me very hard and it kinda gave me a wrong first impression. Otherwise, 10/10 dude. In one day, you made one song, and made one more person make his day!
Cheers,

P.S. To make this in one day is VERY impressive. Two thumbs up!

Excellent work here. Very nice idea... but the transitions need some work. The beginning sounded like Apocolyptica. Did you get some influence from them? Other than that, very well done, especially at the end.

I just had the best inspiration EVER.
The Beginning of the American Revolution
0:00 A boy of 15 relaxes in a field of green and whistles a tune. A call to arms cries out. He rushes in joy to find his hunting rifle and join the gathering militia and the officer in charge. The men march to the road and a cheerful snare starts playing as they march. The boy sees the proud British Redcoats and begins to panic as the militia begins to load. He hurriedly starts to load his gun. All hell breaks loose as the rifles begin to fire. The boy fires, but he panics and runs into the nearby forest. Safe and hidden, the boy reloads his gun and finds other militia members and begin to plan an ambush. The marching Redcoats suddenly get ambushed by the militia as fires hot lead into their lines. The Redcoats soon retreat as more and more fall from the rain of bullets and the militia yell victoriously .
2 Years later
1:21 The boy, now a young man, finds himself in the ranks of the Revolutionary Army, marching proudly towards the field of battle with their flag fluttering in the wind and the snares drumming their beat. The man almost freezes in fear as he begins to see the mass of the British Army and the proud navy waiting by the shore. His friend, a man his age, slaps him on the back, reassuring him that they will win. The battle lines begin to form and the cannons start to fire. The armies fire at each other and a charge begins on the British side. The man and his friend fight valiantly but the friend is wounded on the shoulder.
1:56 The battle ends and the man begins to dress his friend's wound as he lies on the ground, crying out in agony. The man finishes dressing the wound and his friend suddenly clasps the man's shoulder and they stare at each others' eyes. They laugh in relief and astonished surprise in the midst of a battlefield.. They enjoy the sunset together.
Years later
2:39 Both men are veteran officers now, training a group of recruits. Both men smile at each other as the young recruits stand nervously waiting for their officers' orders. The man begins to yell to form up and begins to train the recruits.
3:00 The new unit begins to march proud down a street with their flag high and a quick march. The man waves at the citizens of a town lining the streets with children delightfully marching with the men. The man smiles to himself as he begins to remember his youth and all the experience he has had with the army.
3:37 Soon the unit marches near a burned forest and ruined farms as they witness the sheer destruction war can be. The man starts to frown as he views this and looks towards his old friend. The friend frowns too, then smiles and pats the man on the back, knowing that they will always be ok. The man smiles too, but looking back to the farms, he is uncertain.
4:00 The unit groups with the main Revolutionary Army as a tremendous battle begins. The men of the unit start to become nervous. The man looks back at all the men and smiles. He looks at all of them with pride and reassurance. He tells the flag bearer to raise the flag high. He draws his sword and holds it to the sky. The men, suddenly filled with confidence yell out and begin to join the chaos of the battle.
Back Home
4:54 The man now walks in the field of grass back home, his uniform dirty, his hat in hand and his gun in the other. He looks back, and smiles as his long Morning Adventure ends.
This is probably the most epic song ive heard yet. This is pure inspiration here. Respect, total respect. 10/10 Perfect in almost every way.

Beautifully composed and the bass sound like massive war drums in the middle of a marching army. Just epic. No other word for it. Total respect, Thomas, total respect.

This song rocks! The rhythm and the beat are slightly off in some places, but this is ingenious. Its really nice to know you can touch people no matter what you play.

I must say... this put quite a shock on my face. Most classical songs on Newgrounds are never this light and pleasant. This is an excellent piece of work you have here. Total respect.
